Canadian Solar Inc. (CSI) has opened a U.S. headquarters and customer center in San Ramon, Calif. The office will house purchasing, sales, sales support and R&D staff.
CSI notes that it has had an incorporated subsidiary in the U.S. since early 2007 and is now increasing its footprint in anticipation of the country's transformation into a significant market for solar products. Regional sales offices will be added. CSI's complete line of products – including both of its regular and e-Module products, as well as custom and off-grid products – will be available in the U.S.
