Canadian Solar Inc. has signed a $44.1 million loan agreement with China Development Bank. The loan will be used to finance the construction of a 30 MW solar project and a related facility in western China.
‘We are delighted to have the support of China Development Bank as we continue to execute on our goal to generate over 50% of our revenue from total solutions, which include solar power project development, engineering, procurement and construction services, and residential solar system kit sales,’ said Canadian Solar Chairman and CEO Shawn Qu.
