Canadian Solar Supplies 25.3 MW Of Modules To Four North Carolina Solar Projects


Canadian Solar Inc. will supply 84,480 of its CS6X 300W solar modules to National Renewable Energy Corp. for four utility-scale solar projects totalling 25.3 MW in North Carolina. The installations consist of four separate ground-mount projects – three in Wayne County and one in Duplin County.

The Wayne Solar I plant in Mount Olive and Wayne Solar II and III plants in Goldsboro each will have a capacity of 6.48 MW and an expected output of 9.75 GWh of electricity per year. The 5.83 MW Duplin Solar I, located in Kenansville, is expected to have an annual output of 8.78 GWh of electricity.
