Canadian Solar Inc. says it has delivered solar modules for an 8 MW PV installation built in Dreieich-Buchschlag, Germany.
The solar park is located on the premises of a former waste landfill site. More than 40,000 Canadian Solar modules were installed on an area spanning 153,000 square meters.
The project contractor was Frankfurter Entsorgungs- und Service GmbH (FES), and onsite construction was carried out by Sinusstrom GmbH. The solar park is operated by RMS Rhein-Main Solarpark GmbH, a joint subsidiary of Stadtwerke Dreieich and FES.
