Canadian Solar Supplying Modules For Project In France

Canadian Solar Inc. says it has supplied 8 MW of its CS6P 230-watt modules to a ground-mounted solar power plant constructed by EOSOL Energies and the Caisse des depots et consignations in Villeneuve de Marsan, Aquitaine, France.

Forclum, an Eiffage group company, was responsible for the electrical installation, and Siemens provided the supervision, conception and construction of the plant, including the inverters, electrical system and system monitoring.

This solar installation follows a collaboration of Canadian Solar and EOSOL Energies on a 230 kW project that began operation in late 2010.
