Austria-based Cellstrom has released the Solar Market Place – an autonomous electrical power supply with a power rating of 10 kW and an energy capacity of 100 kWh.
The energy-storage system is based on Cellstrom's vanadium redox flow battery technology, which differs from other electrochemical storage systems by using vanadium liquid energy carriers that are located outside the reactor cells. This separation, the company says, allows independent scaling of power and energy capacity.
