Germany-based Centrosolar AG says it is donating solar modules for an aid project in northern Haiti.
The Centre de Sante Lachapelle health center will receive Centrosolar panels with a total output of 7 kW. Biohaus-Stiftung Foundation, which will be responsible for installing the donated panels on-site, is also donating inverters and batteries.
A diesel power system, which was capable of running only intermittently, had been supplying the center with power.
