Centrosolar UK Ltd. has introduced a new 54-cell module, called Excellent,
to the U.K. market. The new modules have four more cells than the former 50-cell panels of the S-Class Excellent series.
The modules can be fitted by one person, and the chosen layout of the cell matrix has provided a boost in efficiency – up to 15%, the company says, adding that the module's output can reach 225 W.
The new version of the module is also wider and shorter, resulting in improved statics and greater torsional rigidity on the roof. For the installation engineer, the new dimensions mean greater ease of handling during the installation process, shortening the overall fitting process, Centrosolar adds.
