Germany-based centrotherm photovoltaics AG, a provider of technology and equipment to the photovoltaics sector, says it will bundle its solar cell and module segment within a wholly owned subsidiary.
The new subsidiary, called centrotherm cell & module GmbH, will be officially launched Sept. 1. The segment's assets, processes and staff that are essential to its operating activities will be transferred to the new company, centrotherm says. Production units and sites will be unaffected.
Dr. Josef Haase, serving as CEO, and Olaf Demuth, serving as chief financial officer, will manage centrotherm cell & module GmbH.
