Chevron Energy Solutions (CES) and California-based San Lorenzo Unified School District have completed 1.02 MW of solar energy systems that are installed on canopies at various district campuses and at the district's bus depot.
The project was financed through Measure O, a general-obligation bond aimed at modernizing schools in the San Lorenzo district. Officials anticipate that the solar power projects will yield $4.5 million in savings over the lives of the systems.
