0

China's Ministry of Finance has announced a subsidy for building-attached solar power projects with a minimum 50 kW peak capacity, according to a Reuters report.

Under the terms of the subsidy, non-silicon solar panels must have at least 6% efficiency, monocrystalline silicon panels must have at least 16% efficiency and polycrystalline silicon panels must have at least 14% efficiency.

In addition, the Chinese government will give priority to projects that integrate the solar system into the building and projects featuring grid connection. Installations on hospitals, schools and government buildings are also of high priority.
