China-based Chint/Astronergy has inaugurated a solar PV power plant with a total installed capacity of 50 MW in Bulgaria.
According to the company, the project is expected to generate approximately 1.86 GWh of electricity during the next 25 years. All electricity will be connected to the local net-grid with a fixed feed-in tariff. The project, which took three months to construct, features ground-mounted polycrystalline PV modules manufactured by Chint/Astronergy.
