OutBack Power Technologies Inc., a designer and manufacturer of power electronics for renewable energy, backup power and mobile applications, will open its new headquarters in the Arlington Advanced Manufacturing Park in Washington on Aug. 22.
The company says its expansion into the new 42,000-square-foot facility comes as the industry grows to meet soaring demand for solar power. OutBack Power, a member of the Alpha Group of companies, will house its certificate training program in the new facility. OutBack says the three-day curriculum for electrical contractors and solar installers is approved by the North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners.
