Clean Power Systems, a San Diego-based solar electricity systems provider for residential and commercial use, has signed an agreement with Solana Beach, Calif.-headquartered Open Energy Corp. to install its SolarSave roofing membranes and roofing tiles.

According to the companies, Open Energy's SolarSave Roofing Tile maintains the natural look of a property while generating clean electricity from the sun. The SolarSave roofing membrane can be installed on commercial, industrial, institutional and residential low-slope rooftops.

‘We are very pleased to have the opportunity to offer our customers two products from Open Energy that fully and seamlessly integrate energy-efficient solar energy technology into new construction and re-roofing projects,’ says Kirk Mulligan, Clean Power Systems' president and chief executive officer.
