Cleantech Solutions International Inc., a manufacturer of metal components and assemblies for the solar and wind energy industries, says it has delivered two sample sapphire chambers and one solar furnace to an international customer.
In August 2011, Cleantech Solutions received a sample order from this customer to deliver the solar furnace, which is used in the manufacture of polysilicon wafers. That same month, the company received a sample order to deliver, to the same customer, sapphire chambers, which can be used in the manufacture of LED general lighting applications.
Cleantech Solutions has now completed the delivery of these sample orders. Following the completion of testing and approval of the initial units by the customer, the company expects the customer to place additional orders for sapphire chambers and solar furnaces.
