Clenergy, a PV installation designer and mounting system manufacturer, has entered into a new project contract in China's Xinjiang Aksu area. The 20 MW solar PV project in Awati follows the company's contract last fall for a 30 MW project in Alar.
The Alar project entered formal production on Jan. 18, while construction recently began on the Awati project. For the Awati project, Clenergy delivered a ground-mount product featuring support structure changes that reduces the system's weight and costs, while enhancing installation efficiency, the company says.
