Cupertino Electric Inc. has completed the first of four phases of a 5.86 MW solar project for the Clovis Unified School District in California.
Designed and constructed by Cupertino Electric and managed by energy advisory firm TerraVerde Renewable Partners, the project will span 21 sites and is expected to be complete in December. Each school in the district involved with the solar initiative will feature solar panels mounted on either parking lot canopies or playground shade structures.
The first phase of the project includes systems installed at Clovis Elementary School, Fugman Elementary School, Nelson Elementary School, Riverview Elementary School and Mountain View Elementary School.
