CNPV Solar Power SA says its monocrystalline and polyscrystalline PV modules have met performance standards under IEC62804 certification, which pertains to potential induced degradation (PID) in PV modules.
The objective of the standard is to evaluate crystalline silicon PV module durability to system voltage stress with a maximum power degradation of less than 5% for test conditions of 60 degrees C, 85% relative humidity and -1,000 V DC for a continuous period of 96 hours.
