CNPV Solar Power SA, an integrated manufacturer of solar photovoltaic products, has entered into a long-term strategic partnership agreement with Sun'R SAS, a France-based solar power project developer and independent power producer.
The three-year partnership ensures that CNPV is the supplier to meet the total contracted and anticipated demand for Sun'R's consumption of PV modules, according to the companies. The initial consumption is 14 MW this year, with a potential to supply a further 4 MW during the same period.
Volumes for 2012 and 2013 are not yet finalized and will heavily depend on market development conditions, but they are anticipated to be significantly larger than this year's volumes, the companies note.
