Cone Drive Gearing Solutions, part of the David Brown group, has signed an agreement with BrightSource Energy Inc. to supply solar tracking drives for its 392 MW Ivanpah Solar Electric Generating System.
The Ivanpah project, which uses concentrating solar power technology, is currently under construction in California's Mojave Desert area.
