Conergy plans to integrate OneStep Selective Emitter technology into its operations in Frankfurt, Germany. Once installed, this technology will enable increases in cell efficiency of up to 0.5%, according to the company.
The equipment is provided by Manz Automation AG, based in Reutlingen, Germany. Conergy says it is one of the first users worldwide to use the pioneering technology in its mass production. The company is investing 5 million euros in the operation.Â
