J. Lohr Vineyards & Wines, located in Paso Robles, Calif., has a three-acre, 756 kW solar photovoltaic single-axis tracking system that is designed to offset 75% of the winery's energy usage at its operations.
The ground-mounted installation includes 4,320 PV modules that track the sun from east to west on a daily basis to optimize production of solar-generated electricity. The system was designed and installed by Conergy, and Xantrex GT250 inverters were used.
