Conergy's large-scale project group has partnered with solar developer Enfinity to complete a three-acre, 490 kW solar energy park for the municipal wastewater treatment plant in Parlier, Calif.
Enfinity developed and financed the installation, and selected Conergy to provide solar engineering, procurement, and construction and operations and maintenance services, along with a bankable warranty wrap and guarantees needed for structured financing.
Using Conergy's P-235 solar modules, the solar park will produce 984,529 kWh of energy annually, according to Conergy's calculations. The project used a power purchase agreement structure and is expected to offset the city's electricity costs by $7 million over the life of the contract.
