Germany-based Conergy has completed a 900 kW stand-alone project for the Madhya Pradesh Forest Department (MPFD) in India's Madhya Pradesh region.
The MPFD is the forest service agency under the Madhya Pradesh government responsible for the protection and conservation of the forest's natural resources. The agency selected Conergy to supply its ranger offices with 755 1 kW and 29 5 kW stand-alone photovoltaic systems. The arrays were installed in order to enable communications and internet connectivity in the field offices to the agency's headquarters.
As the main contractor, Conergy supplied the off-grid crystalline modules for this project and provided design, procurement, installation and commissioning services. The company will also provide maintenance.
