Conergy USA has added the Conergy PM – a new 60-cell polycrystalline PV module – to its product portfolio. Manufactured in Europe, the Conergy PM is not subject to any potential tariffs or duties associated with the recent trade complaint against Chinese cell and module manufacturers.
The Conergy PM is manufactured by a European contract manufacturer that passes Conergy's vendor qualification process, the company says.
‘With the current uncertainty of the tariff decision, Conergy USA is diversifying its module portfolio in order to support the continued growth of the solar industry and ensure that our customers' businesses do not experience any supply interruptions,’ says Donald Chung, director of marketing and product management.
The 60-cell poloycrystalline Conergy PM module will be the latest in the compay's ‘value module’ series. It features competitive efficiencies, a positive-only power tolerance, and a 10-year materials and workmanship warranty, Conergy notes.
