Conergy has announced that it will install 3.4 MW of solar energy for Grimmway Enterprises, one of the largest carrot growers in the world, throughout the remainder of the year.
In May, Conergy won the rights to install solar energy at five Grimmway carrot farms located throughout California's San Joaquin valley. Each installation will feature 4,760 Conergy PM 240 W solar modules and produce 1.15 MW of renewable energy.
The construction of the first three sites is currently under way and will be completed this year. The second phase of installations will be considered at a future date.
