Cooper Interconnect, a manufacturer of interconnect solutions, has introduced its SUNNECTOR line of solar assemblies and harnesses. The product line includes whip and jumper assemblies, parallel circuit array harnesses, sub-array harnesses, and custom solutions for solar projects, the company says.
The SUNNECTOR products are designed for a variety of applications, including combiner boxes, portable power systems and inverters.
The whip and jumper assemblies are pre-fabricated and designed to work with rigid and flexible thin-film, monocrystalline and multicrystalline PV modules. The parallel circuit array harness assemblies feature a proprietary junction system that allows multiple arrays to be connected in parallel, while the sub-array harnesses are designed for high-current connection and power delivery to combiner boxes, sub-combiners or inverters, Cooper Interconnect says.
