Cox Enterprises, a communications, media and automotive services company, has announced the completion of solar projects at its Manheim and Cox Communications subsidiaries.
Located in North Dighton, Mass., the Manheim New England project includes a 3 MW ground-mount installation and a 509 kW roof installation. The company notes that the 3 MW system comprises more than 10,000 solar panels and was created through an agreement with Taunton Municipal Lighting Plant.
In addition, Cox Communications completed a 181 kW roof installation in Warwick, R.I., and a 500 kW ground-mount installation in Portsmouth, R.I. Through a partnership with National Grid, 100% of the clean energy generated will be used to serve the community, Cox Enterprises says.
