Photovoltaic module manufacturer China Sunergy Co. Ltd. (CSUN) has signed a licensing agreement with California-based installation hardware maker Zep Solar Inc. Under terms of the agreement, CSUN will incorporate Zep Solar's ease-of-installation installation features into the frame design of its major monocrystalline and polycrystalline module types.
The agreement covers all of CSUN's three production sites in Nanjing, Shanghai and Istanbul. The company says Zep Solar's hardware is expected to reduce installation time for its modules intended for residential and commercial rooftops.
‘With CSUN tackling the U.S. market, licensing the Zep Solar technology is a major development for us,’ says William Sheng, vice president of sales at CSUN.
