Custom Rollforming Corp. (CRC), a manufacturer of custom roll-formed products, says it has supplied specially designed solar racking products for a 300 kW solar farm at Southwest Baking in Tolleson, Ariz.
The assignment given to CRC by the solar farm contractor, Green Fuel Technologies, was to provide a durable racking solution to be used with Scheuten 195 W polycrystalline modules.
CRC says it worked closely with Green Fuel Technologies and structural engineers to develop a simple, efficient ground-mount racking system for use in large, utility-scale solar energy systems. During the design phase, consideration was given not only to manufacturing costs, but also to the efficient utilization of real estate and to the speed of installation.
