Pennsylvania-based Customized Energy Solutions (CES) has signed a multi-year agreement with Renewable Energy Systems Americas (RES Americas) to provide operations and dispatch support in optimizing their grid-connected energy storage projects in the U.S. and Canada.
The agreement covers the Amphora energy storage system in Ontario, which received certification on Aug. 5.
‘This is a critical juncture in the integration of battery storage into the market, transitioning from pilots to grid-scale commercially viable projects,’ says Erik Paulson, CES vice president of generation services.
