The Coachella Valley Housing Coalition (CVHC), a nonprofit housing development corporation dedicated to assisting low- and very-low-income families, has partnered with Renova Energy Corp. to install a solar PV project at its Wolff Waters Place low-income apartment complex.
Renova executives estimate that the use of solar energy at the Wolff Waters Place installation will save the organization more than $32,000 annually in electricity costs. The 174 kW project was funded internally by the nonprofit to reduce the property's direct electric utility expense.
