Danfoss Solar Inverters says its entire line of TLX and ULX inverters is in compliance with Germany's EEG 2012 standards and guidelines. The new firmware for both the ULX and TLX will make it easier for projects using the inverters to follow the applicable laws, according to Danfoss.
EEG 2012 states that all new PV systems must participate in power management. For systems 30 kW or smaller, system owners may accept a 70% cut of the maximum power output instead of installing power management equipment. For equipment required to retrofit systems greater than 30 kW, Danfoss will introduce the CLX grid management family in February 2012.
