DEGERenergie, a Germany-headquartered producer of solar tracking systems, has received an order from Construcao e Manutencao Electromecanica (CME) to equip a 3.5 MW solar farm in southern Spain with DEGERenergie's open-terrain TOPtraker 8.5 single-axis photovoltaic tracking systems.
With the help of DEGERenergie, CME will install a total of 3,044 TOPtraker 8.5 systems with a tilt angle of 30 degrees near Villanueva de Cordova in the province of Andalusia. The project is scheduled to be completed and ready to begin feeding energy into the public supply by mid-June.
