The Connecticut Clean Energy Fund, which is administered by Rocky Hill, Conn.-based Connecticut Innovations, the Conservation Services Group and BJ's Wholesale Club have completed the state's largest solar photovoltaic (PV) retail installations at the BJ's Wholesale Clubs in Derby and Willimantic.
Two 82.8 kW solar PV systems were installed on the rooftops of the Derby and Willimantic BJ's Clubs, the companies say. The Derby installation is expected to generate approximately 95,912 kWh per year, while the Willimantic system will generate approximately 87,331 kWh of clean electricity per year.
