Despatch Industries, a thermal technology and equipment provider, has promoted Dr. Ellen Cheng to the role of general manager for China and Taiwan.
In her expanded role, Cheng is now responsible for Despatch's sales, service, technology and business development activity in China and Taiwan for the company's solar, carbon fiber and thermal technology business units. Duties will include leading the company's move of its solar manufacturing to China in early 2014.
Cheng has more than 15 years of industry experience. Prior to joining Despatch, she was employed with 3i Systems Corp., where she held the positions of sales vice president of China and head of solar business.
