Despatch Industries, a provider of technology and equipment for the solar market, says it has received a large order of metallization firing furnaces from LDK Solar, a manufacturer of multicrystalline solar wafers and polysilicon and photovoltaic products.
LDK will be utilizing the equipment in the company's most recent production expansion project. Despatch notes that manufacturing growth – especially in China – continues to drive demand for this equipment and technology.
