Dow Corning has named Dr. Guy Beaucarne solar cell science and technology manager for its solar market business unit, which provides silicon-based solutions throughout the entire photovoltaic value chain. He will be based at Dow Corning's European headquarters in Belgium.
Beaucarne joins Dow Corning with more than a decade of experience in solar photovoltaics. Previously, he held a number of roles at the Interuniversity Microelectronics Centre, including as leader of the solar cell technology group in the solar and organic technologies department.
