DRI Energy – an engineering, procurement and construction contractor – and Kinsbursky Brothers Inc., an environmental management company that specializes in the management and recycling of end-of-life large-format batteries, have commissioned a 306 kW PV system at Kinsbursky Brothers' facility in Anaheim, Calif.
The canopy-mounted solar array is expected to produce more than 440,000 kWh annually. Building a solar photovoltaic system on a 38-foot-high open structure in a sensitive operation zone required expert project safety and planning to eliminate operational disruption to the client, the companies note.
