DRI Energy has completed a 302 kW solar photovoltaic system installation for the County of San Bernardino at the Jerry Lewis High Desert Government Center in Hesperia, Calif., and a 216 kW system for the newly developed City of Hesperia Police Department, also in Hesperia.

Both projects were funded by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act and are Buy America Act-compliant.

The roof- and carport-mounted system at the Jerry Lewis High Desert Government Center is expected to produce an estimated 473,000 kW annually and will offset nearly 86% of the annual energy usage for the new government facility.

The project at the Hesperia Police Department, which is also a roof- and carport-mounted system, is expected to produce an estimated 336,000 kW annually and will offset nearly 75% of the annual energy usage for the facility.
