DRI Energy, an Irvine, Calif.-based engineering, procurement and construction contractor, has hired Craig Stager as director of PV design and engineering. In this role, Stager will be responsible for all design and engineering activities for the company and will oversee a staff of designers, drafters and electrical engineers. His department evaluates all new technologies that DRI Energy uses in its projects.
Stager is a participant in the 2011 NEC code writing panel and a current member of the NABCEP ethics committee. Stager previously worked at SPG Solar, where he built a professional design department providing commercial services, product innovation and engineering, and international expansion support.
