RLS Logistics, a temperature-controlled logistics provider, has partnered with HelioSage Energy, a solar project developer, and Dynamic Solar, a solar integrator, to install a 257 kW solar array at the RLS headquarters in Newfield, N.J.
Under a 15-year power purchase agreement, RLS will host the solar array and pay a monthly solar power bill. HelioSage partnered with Dynamic Solar for the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC). Dynamic completed EPC services through a design/build partnership with Southern Energy Management.
Dynamic Solar also provided system financing and will provide ongoing operations and maintenance services for the project.
Construction on the solar array began in mid-October, and the system was commissioned on Dec. 30, 2011. The interconnecting utility was Atlantic City Electric.
