Johns Hopkins University has teamed with solar energy development companies Eastlight Renewable Ventures and RGS Energy to install an 818 kW PV project across three of its campuses in Baltimore.
Eastlight developed the project and owns the systems, while RGS Energy planned, engineered and installed the systems. Eastlight executed a long-term power purchase agreement with the university, under which the university will buy the electricity generated by the installations.
According to Eastlight and RGS Energy, the installations are expected to generate 950,925 kWh in their first year of operation.
