Eclipsall, a Toronto-based manufacturer of PV modules, has integrated selective emitter technology into its manufacturing process.
According to the company, selective emitter technology has been proven to be more effective in lower light conditions, such as those in Ontario. The technology enhances solar cell performance by providing more efficient control of the phosphorous concentration.
Eclipsall currently manufactures 60- and 72-cell PV modules from its 160,000 square-foot facility in Toronto.
