Eclipsall and Ferguson-Neudorf Glass have begun collaborating on the manufacturing of building-integrated PV (BIPV) modules for the 22-story TD Halifax Tower in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
The project will employ 300 W frameless glass-on-glass PV modules to be installed and used as a street level canopy along the south and west facades of the building. The project will also feature 190 W frameless glass-on-glass window shading modules installed on the south facade of the structure.
This installation enables the building owner to achieve LEED Gold Status on this project, according to the companies.
