El Paso Electric (EPE) in El Paso, Texas, has issued a request for proposals (RFP) for its 2015 needs. EPE says it will consider low-cost and reliable electric power supply and load-management capacity resources – including renewable energy – that best meet its need of up to 300 MW by May 1, 2015.
EPE will consider meeting its load requirement through a combination of dispatchable supply-side and demand-side resources proposed in response to this RFP. For further RFP details and requirements, refer to EPE's 2010 All-Sources RFP at www.epelectric.com.
