0

Elettronica Santerno, an Italy-based firm specializing in designing and manufacturing solar inverters, has founded the Italian Photovoltaic Academy. The academy involves over 40 engineers and specialists in photovoltaics, from the CESI (Centro Elettrotecnico Sperimentale Italiano, the Italian Experimental Electrotechnics Centre), the Politecnico in Turin and Emerson Network Power.

The goal of the academy is to gather technicians and specialists from major Italy-based companies and design agencies to find solutions for the ever-increasing demands concerning scientific trials of new renewable energy technologies.

The first component of the academy's program is three meetings, including lectures and roundtables, in Turin, Rome and Bari, with the intent of gathering the most important representatives from all over Italy.
