EMMVEE, Off Spire Line, Achieves Certification

Spire Corp., Bedford, Mass., says modules fabricated by EMMVEE Toughened Glass and Photovoltaics Private Ltd. of Bangalore, India, utilizing Spire's turnkey photovoltaic module assembly line factory, have qualified for the IEC 61215-2005 and IEC 61730.

EMMVEE's family of type ES165M72 modules were recently certified at TUV in Germany. Module certification is a critical step in achieving success in photovoltaics. Specific certification is required to sell into the highest-value areas in the global marketplace.
