Dorchester, Ontario-based solar thermal company EnerWorks Inc. has been selected to receive C$2,465,000 under the Community Adjustment Fund Intake 2.
The project will reduce costs and increase production capacity via improvements to existing production facilities, new facilities, engineering solutions and operational improvements, the company says.

The Community Adjustment Fund is a two-year, C$1 billion national program aimed at addressing the short-term economic needs of communities hit hardest by the global economic recession. The funding is part of FedDev Ontario, which is a component of Canada's Economic Action Plan. EnerWorks' approved project must meet the terms and conditions set out in the contribution agreement.Â
