Enphase Energy Inc., a provider of micro-inverters to the solar energy industry, has announced it is entering the U.K. market.
Enphase Energy U.K. will serve England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland with a local technical, sales, marketing and training team. As a part of the expansion, the company has hired Paul Nightingale as country manager for the U.K.
Nightingale brings over two decades of management experience to his role as country manager. With a strong background in strategic sales, marketing and business development, Nightingale recently served as U.K. country manager for a multinational solar inverter company, where he successfully launched the brand into the U.K. market.
For Enphase, Nightingale will be responsible for creating and implementing the Enphase U.K. strategic business plan, developing the sales channel and support infrastructure, and building the Enphase U.K. team.
